Yesterday I back from Cameron Highlands. Thanks God that I made my final decision to attend this camp. I learnt a lot of lessons. What is really matter in my life? “Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” — Matthew 10:39 LORD, teach me to trust in You with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding, in all my ways acknowledge You.

Melaka one day trip with coursemates

21st Nov 08(Fri)

Early in the morning, CK came Tiara feteched me and Yen. We went to Engineering Faculty, UM to meet with other coursemates that were going. Guess what? We were the only car that reached punctual. =D After 20 minutes, the other two cars arrived. We went to canteen to have a light beakfast then only depart. It was 9am.

Ivan, CK and King were driving cars.

Ivan’s car - Tjinwern, Siang Moh, Yong Chang(our tour guide) and Hui Xin

CK’s car - Ser Yen, Deh Ping and I

King’s car - Wey Chyuan, Jin Fei and Kelly

The journey to Melaka took about 2 hours. Our first destination is a shop that sells local products. We went in but nobody interested in buying. Haha. Right after that, we went to butterfly park which is next to this shop. The entrance fee is RM6 per person.

Initially I thought in butterfly farm the only thing that we can see is butterfly but out of my surprise, there are much more animals there!

There are various types of butterflies. When I looked at these butterflies, I was so amazed by the works of God. How creative is God to colour this insect.

Other than butterflies, we also took photos on ourselves to keep as a memory.

Ping’s name was crafted on cactus.

More animals…

Ca you see the owl?

These are all about butterfly farm in Melaka.

At about 11.30am, we left butterfly farm then went to Melaka town to have our lunch.

Life journey = walking on a see-saw

Life is like walking on a see-saw.

~

It is always walk from the lower side to the highest side of see-saw. It becomes harder and harder every steps you take.

~

When you go nearer to the highest side, it is more difficult for you to find a balance point.

~

When you think that you are walking higher and higher, without your realization, you are walking downward in fact.

~

In the end, you found that this is impossible for you to stand at the highest part of the see-saw.

~

Finally, you understand the fact: Truly, when you may find the balance point of your life, it means that you have reached the highest point.

~

There is an alternative way for you to stand at the highest point:

There are people at the lower side of see-saw that support you.

Perhaps they are your family members, your love one or…

those who you called them as enemy.

Before we went back, we took a group photo. From the left: Ting Hao (CM senior), Sharon, Li Moi, I and Vic.

After that, we went back. That day I was tired but I have joy in my heart. I witnessed a couple who are far apart from each other (one from Malaysia, the other one from England), God has knitted them together. This is so amazing. Wish their marriage will be blessed and both of them may learn the true love.

Exam finish

I just fisnish my last paper for this semester. Happy, happy.

At last, I can have more time to sleep. =)

After exam, this also means that one month semester break is approaching. This time I really need to plan for my holiday so that I would not waste it.

Well, I need to plan for my thesis experiments and lab works. If possible, I hope that I may complete my experiment works during this semester break. However I still have to know that sometimes things would  not happen in the way that what we want. Therefore, I’ll do what I can do for now.

On 24th Nov, I’ll have my thesis proposal presentation. Perhaps I need to do earlier preparation so that I won’t do last minute works. Right after presentation, I’ll go THE Camp which is organised by PKVUM.  This is a camp at Barre I.J. Centre, Cameron for 4 days 3 night.

One of the event that I’m anticipating is Christmas! I hope that I’ll have a meaningful and memorable Christmas day this year. Perhaps I may spend this day with my family so that we have a time of fellowship and sharing.

My coursmates plan to go for Melaka one day trip next week. Hope that I may join them and have a good time together.

Why people shout when they angry?

This is a story that was sent by my friend - Chi Yee. It is interesting and full of meaning.

~~

One day, a lecturer with wisdom asked his students a question: “Why people will shout instead of talking in a normal tone when they are angry?”

~

All the students thought deeply. One of the students answered: “It is because we loose our ‘calmness’. Thus we will shout.”

~

Again the lecturer asked: “Why you still shout even though the person is next to you? Can’t you speak in a softer voice? Why we always tend to shout?”

~

Almost all the students gave their own opinions but none of the answers that satisfied lecturer.

~

At last, lecturer explained. “When two people are angry, the distance of hearts is very far away. In order to hide this distance, we shout so that the other could listen.

~

However after you shout, you’ll feel more angry. When you have more anger that accumulate, the distance of hearts is even further. Further the distance, the louder you shout…”

~

Lecturer continued with his explanation. “How about a pair of couple that are in love? The situation is in contrast. They do not shout, instead, they whisper to which other? Why?

~

This is because their hearts are very close to each other, there is hardly a  length between both hearts. Therefore a couple that fall in love always talk very softly to each other. As a result, the love grows deeper in their heart until words are not so important in their communication.

~

They can use eye contact to communicate with each other. Between two hearts, there is no distance that appears. Lastly, lecturer made a conclusion.

~

When you have a quarrel with other, in order to not let your heart far apart from that person, do not even say any words that will lengthen this distance.

After few days, the hearts are nearer to each other, then only talk nicely at that time!”
